"SARA-LED"
is the new
LED-light ring system
for digital dental-
and macro-photography
After
almost 10 years of experience in the field of marketing all types of dental
camera systems the RAMEZANI camera systems
company in Nürnberg/Germany, has developed a new
product that outdoes all existing offers for LED-ringlightsystems.
It is a well-known
fact in a dental photography, the perfect light is essential. For
floodlighting the oral cavity ring flash systems were taken in analogous
photography which, however, combined with digital cameras do not work at all
or cause many problems. A permanent light source with LED technology solves
the problem of digital photography.
The quality of
light of the latest generation of LED-small lights (almost as good as
day-light) makes natural colour-quality .possible. As the light sources are
arranged around the objective, an optimal lighting
is guaranteed. Permanent light has also the decisive advantage that light
is disposable for focussing while taking photos.
The LED ring lights
which have been on the market up to now, those as well which we sold work
well. Combined with the right camera and the necessary focussing the results
are well presentable.
Necessary technical
refinement was missing to allow the creativity of the photographer with
flexible light for instance. Often the handling of the storage battery and the
charger were criticized. The possibilities of electronic controls and the
stabilization of the light were not or not completely exhausted.

By using modern
electronic a new high-tech product emerged which guarantees a reliable and
creative
dental photography
with nearly every digital camera.
The main characteristics of SARA-LED
are the following:
Power supply
controlled by micro processors which exclude operator’s errors. LED and
storage battery are precisely supplies with the necessary current and thus the
durability by considerate treatment is guaranteed. The lighting power is
kept constantly even if the storage battery is weakened. Protection
against overheating is kept up by a constant control of the temperature.
NiMh storage
batteries and integrated quick charger. About 90
minutes of constant operation in full lighting with storage battery. When
using electricity one can charge the battery , i.e. it is always ready for use
like a notebook or a video camera.
A dimmer with 10
positions: much light is not always needed. You prefer less light when you
take pictures of tooth to see its structure.
Partially
switched-off light: when the object is not illuminated from front but
sideways the photo seems to be three-dimensional.

ultra-bright-LED: focuses up to a distance of 7 to 25cm.
Robust metal
case with 2 supports for accessories. One can fix accessories like
mirror for intraoral pictures or a tripod for
the chin. The tripod enables photos without blurs which can be reproduced.
SARA-LED
for existing cameras and complete digital dentalcamera-packet
Nearly every digital
camera can use SARA-LED on condition that a filter thread exists where the ring
light can be adapted. Whether the results are in
accordance with the demands depends on the digital camera.
We tested some of the
current digital cameras concerning their demands and are ready to answer any
question about our experience in detail.
The cameras which we
think most suitable are available with SARA-LED as complete packet. Complete
packet means that not only are delivered all the necessities of hard- and
software in a aluminium case but also that the cameras are focussed for dental
photography.
